WOLF THEISS ADVISES 6B47 REAL ESTATE INVESTORS ON THE ISSUE OF NEW SHARES TO PRIVATE INVESTORS
Vienna, 29 June 2012 – WOLF THEISS advised 6B47 Real Estate Investors Group, a rapidly expanding real estate company with offices in Vienna, Düsseldorf and Warsaw, in connection with the capital increase and simultaneous raising of mezzanine equity.
6B47 Real Estate Investors Group raised EUR 15 million of fresh capital in connection with its capital increase closed on 27 June. The major portion of this amount was raised as equity capital by issuing new shares to a group of prominent Austrian private investors, who now jointly hold 30 % of the shares. In addition, the investors provide mezzanine capital to 6B47 Group for funding pending real estate projects.
"The new partnership formed through the capital increase is a very significant step for our up-and-coming real estate company, not only due to the enhanced capital base but also because of the distinguished entrepreneurs and their networks who now stand behind our investors," appreciates co-founder and managing director, Erwin Krause. Fellow board member and co-shareholder, Peter Ulm says, "Immediately after the closing of the capital increase, our newly created investment advisory board gave the go-ahead for three new exciting projects with a total volume of EUR 45 million."
6B47 Real Estate Investors Group (spoken as "six before seven") was established in 2009 with the vision of a real estate investor and developer offering an innovative investment model for a broad range of investors beyond its own shareholders. As part of the so-called investment club of 6B47 Group, the numerous members are informed continuously and without commitment about projects in which they can acquire limited partnership shares, if they so wish.
Wolf Theiss Partner Dieter Spranz, who together with Daniela Wieser, Consultant at Wolf Theiss, has been advising the 6B47 Group since their establishment states: "We believe that the significant interest in the newly issued shares in the current market environment is, above all, a result of the specific business model of the 6B47 Group, which is founded on the combination of a highly experienced management team and an innovative investment structure." "The investment club is an innovative private equity model that eliminates many elements of classical participation models of which investors are increasingly skeptical," adds Daniela Wieser.
