Vienna, 09. October 2023 – Wolf Theiss is providing legal advice to Ballingslöv International in connection with the acquisition of 100 % of the shares of family-owned Dan-Küchen Möbelfabrik M. Danzer Gesellschaft m.b.H (“DANKÜCHEN”) by a subsidiary of Ballingslöv International. Completion of the transaction is subject to merger control clearance. The parties have agreed to keep other terms and conditions of the transaction confidential.

DANKÜCHEN is one of the leading kitchen manufacturers in Austria. Last year, the family-owned company generated sales of approximately EUR 120 million with around 450 employees.

Ballingslöv International is a major kitchen furniture manufacturer in Europe with brands such as Ballingslöv, Kvik, JKE Design, Drømmekjøkkenet, Multiform, Paula Rosa Manhattan and the worktop manufacturer DFI-Geisler, currently employing around 1,300 people and generating sales of approximately EUR 480 million in the last financial year. Ballingslöv International is part of the family-owned Stena Group, which had a turnover of around EUR 5 billion in 2022 and employs around 17,000 people.
