Both the construction industry and the real estate industry are economic sectors with high risk potential: agreements that restrict competition, money laundering, bribery and other prohibited acts are absolute “no-go’s” for market participants who comply with the rules. But “greenwashing” can also become a criminal problem for the entire company due to the Association Responsibility Act. Competitive pressure and adverse market conditions contribute to the fact that legally frowned upon behavior can unfortunately sometimes take place.
Taking precautions against the illegal has absolute priority. But what to do if it turns out that the porcelain is broken, the exact extent of the damage that has occurred and the responsibility and the correct handling of the situation can be determined? In our workshop we deal with the questions:
Topics:
- When an internal investigation should take place in a company;
- How it must be planned and run;
- And how to deal with the results.

Topics:
- Wann eine interne Untersuchung in einem Unternehmen stattfinden soll;
- Wie sie geplant werden und verlaufen muss;
Diskussionsteilnehmer:
- Clemens Trauttenberg, Partner, White Collar Crime, Wolf Theiss – Strafrechtliche und forensische Aspekte einer Corporate Investigation

- Paulina Pomorski, Counsel, IP/IT, Wolf Theiss – Datenschutz in einer internen Untersuchung
- Birgit Kraml, Partner, Real Estate Law, Wolf Theiss – Greenwashing und rechtliche Implikationen
