Wolf Theiss advises Erste Group Bank AG on its issuance of EUR 1 billion 3.000 per cent. Mortgage Pfandbriefe

Vienna, 23 January 2025 – Wolf Theiss has advised Erste Group Bank AG as issuer on the successful issuance of “EUR 1,000,000,000 3.000 per cent. Hypothekenpfandbriefe (Mortgage Pfandbriefe) due 2032” (ISIN: AT0000A3HN08).

 The covered bonds with a maturity of 7.25 years including an option for maturity extension, were placed with institutional investors and eligible counterparties, offering a coupon of 3.000% per annum. They are listed on the Official Market (Amtlicher Handel) of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The transaction closed on 20 January 2025.

Erste Group Bank AG was advised by a Wolf Theiss team led by Partner Claus Schneider, supported by Senior Associate Sebastian Prakljacic, Associates Rainer Holweg and Magdalena Bertsch and Legal Trainee Negar Hashemi (all from the Debt Capital Markets team). Counsel Eva Stadler provided advice on tax-related matters.
