Wolf Theiss Warsaw continues to grow, as Anna Tomowicz joins the team in the role of partner in the real estate practice, and Adrian Krzyżanowski joins as counsel to foster project finance and leveraged finance expertise in banking & finance practice.
Anna Tomowicz will strengthen our real estate practice in Warsaw with her experience, business perspective and in-depth knowledge that she gained over 20 years practicing in the real estate market.
“I am excited to be joining a rising, strong Wolf Theiss team in Poland. I’m proud of what I have achieved. However, with such amazing group of passionate and super skilled lawyers at my side, I feel that there is much more to do and to share. The sky is the limit.” said Anna Tomowicz, new partner in the real estate practice.
Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Anna was a partner in one of the largest international law firms in Europe. She has advised on significant and high-profile real estate projects in Poland and CEE. Anna gained her experience in business working in-house for the board of Atrium European Real Estate in Amsterdam and then as the Head of Atrium’s legal team in Warsaw. She earned an Executive MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University in Chicago and was awarded “Top Woman in Real Estate” in the 2020 edition of the event.
“We are truly pleased that Anna joins the team as partner. Stable expansion of our team is a priority for us. In recent years, our Warsaw Real Estate practice experienced significant growth, and we believe that Anna will significantly contribute to its further development. With Anna’s strong recognition in the market, great experience and personality, as well as interesting ideas for various initiatives, our Warsaw Real Estate practice will be stronger and will expand its capacity to serve our current and future clients.” said Grzegorz Skowroński, partner in the real estate practice.
Along with Anna, our team is growing with the addition of another notable lawyer, Adrian Krzyżanowski, who joins as a counsel in the banking & finance practice. His main objective will be to develop project finance and leveraged finance expertise in the banking & finance practice of Wolf Theiss in Poland.
“I am very pleased to be joining such an ambitious and dynamic team. We know each other very well, as we have worked together in the past. I look forward to further developing the banking business together and providing exceptional services to our clients.” said Adrian Krzyżanowski.
Adrian spent his career working in leading international law firms in Poland and the United Kingdom. He has recently worked as an in-house legal advisor at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. During his career, Adrian has been involved in an impressive number of landmark projects in Poland. He has advised investors and banks in numerous complex transactions in Poland and Baltic Sea countries. In his latest role, he advised the EIB on its largest-ever corporate financing project in Poland, which was granted to Tauron Polska Energia to finance investment expenditure in power distribution grids.
With his broad knowledge and experience, Adrian is able to assist our clients in all types of financing transactions, including leveraged, project, construction, acquisition and mezzanine finance, as well as PIK loans and bid loans.
“I am delighted to welcome Adrian Krzyżanowski as new counsel in our Warsaw’s Banking & Finance team. His professional experience and knowledge will perfectly align with our future ideas for the further development of the entire Polish Wolf Theiss practice. He will be an immense support to the banking & finance team, and I am sure that other practices, in particular energy & natural resources, will vastly benefit from his knowledge, contacts and experience”, said Przemek Kozdój, the Head of the Banking & Finance practice in Warsaw.
Tomasz Stasiak, co-managing partner of the Warsaw’s office and the Head of the Real Estate practice, added: “We are proud to welcome new faces joining Warsaw’s team, with their professional added value for the Warsaw office.
