About Boryana Filimonova
Boryana Filimonova is a dual-qualified Bulgarian attorney at law and an English law solicitor. She specialises in corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions. Her dual qualification provides her with a unique perspective and allows her to effectively advise clients on complex cross-border transactions.
Boryana has extensive experience in M&A and private equity transactions across a range of sectors, including renewable energy, IP/IT, pharma and retail. She plays a key role throughout all stages of major client transactions, from conducting due diligence processes, to deal structuring, negotiation and the preparation of all necessary transaction and closing documents. Her venture capital expertise includes advising both founders and investors on investments of varying sizes and across multiple rounds. She is also advising clients on all aspects of corporate matters, ranging from complex multijurisdictional group restructurings, to local corporate reorganizations, and day-to-day corporate governance. In addition, Boryana is also experienced in drafting and advising clients on a variety of commercial agreements, particularly within the IP and IT sectors.
