About Guenter Bauer
Günter Bauer heads the firm-wide Competition & Antitrust team. He specialises in EU and national competition law and state aid law and has been working in that field for more than 15 years. Before joining Wolf Theiss, Günter gained six years of hands-on experience while working in Brussels for the competition team of a Magic Circle law firm. His practice includes EU and national cartel investigations and leniency applications, merger control cases, abuse of dominance issues, cooperation and distribution agreements, private enforcement and competition litigation cases. Günter regularly provides compliance trainings and carries out competition law audits. His expertise covers a wide variety of industry sectors such as retail, pharmaceutical/life sciences, food, consumer goods, chemicals, energy, transportation, motor vehicles and media.
