About Jakub Pietrasik
Jakub Pietrasik is the main IP & TMT contact in Poland and is also a member of the Corporate M&A and Life Sciences teams. With over 14 years’ experience working in Polish and international law firms, Jakub provides legal advice to production and industrial companies, IT entities, tech companies and start-ups, including advising on technology transfer, commercialization of intellectual property rights, data privacy issues, M&A transactions and FDI matters. He often prepares IP and technology transfer agreements, license agreements, as well as IT development and outsourcing contracts. He has experience in R&D projects, and he is frequently involved in high-tech matters relating to artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, crypto-assets and blockchain. Furthermore, Jakub is experienced in advising pharma companies, both regarding IP and technology laws, as well as in cross-border transactions and regulatory issues. His experience includes also legal advice to construction companies and architects, at all stages of investments. Jakub is the author of several publications on technology law, foreign direct investments regulations and corporate disputes.
