About Theresia Franziska Welser

Theresia Welser is a member of the Disputes team, with a focus on litigation.

She has significant expertise in handling complex and high-stakes corporate disputes, including D&O liability, insurance claims, auditor negligence, and tort cases stemming from criminal activities. She also has a strong track record regarding defamation suits and injunctions. Additionally, Theresia has developed a focus on ESG-related topics, tackling issues such as greenwashing, also relating to the new Green Bond standard.

Theresia brings extensive experience in representing major banks and large corporations. Her deep, industry-specific knowledge enables her to understand and address the unique challenges these organisations face, delivering targeted and effective legal solutions tailored to their needs.

She joined Wolf Theiss in 2016 and began working there full-time in 2017. Before this, she gained valuable insights at leading commercial law firms in Germany and the UK. A graduate of the University of Vienna, Theresia is a member of the Austrian Bar and, upon her admission, held the distinction of being the youngest practicing attorney in Austria.
