About Thomas Anderl
Thomas Anderl co-heads the firm’s Construction practice. He is regularly involved in complex matters in this field of expertise, both national and international, including representing construction companies before courts, arbitral tribunals and FIDIC Adjudication Boards. In addition to his Austrian law degree, Thomas holds a degree in construction engineering and construction management from the Vienna University of Applied Sciences. Prior to joining the firm, Thomas spent more than 5 years working in the construction field as international claim manager in the CEE/SEE region and as a construction engineer in Austria. Further, Thomas is a qualified master builder (“Baumeister”), a certified FIDIC-Adjudicator (VBI / FIDIC) and registered with the German Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI) in the list of Dispute Adjudicators. He is a member of the Austrian Association for Construction Law (ÖGEBAU), a regular author of numerous articles on construction law and has been a frequent lecturer at universities of applied science on these topics.
