Arbitration expert Venus Valentina Wong joins Wolf Theiss
Vienna, 28 April 2016 – Starting on 1 May 2016, arbitration and litigation lawyer Valentina Wong will join Wolf Theiss. As an expert in arbitration law, she has gathered 12 years of experience and has been involved in more than 60 national and international arbitration and ADR proceedings, both as counsel and arbitrator.
Valentina Wong was previously a lawyer at Torggler Rechtsanwälte and ARP Andreas Reiner & Partners, where she handled international litigation and arbitration proceedings. She also gained experience at the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris and at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) in Beijing. Prior to that, she served as an assistant at the Institute for Austrian and European Public Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Valentina Wong is currently Co-Chair of the Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP).
Dr. Wong completed her doctoral studies at the University of Vienna. She also earned a degree in Sinology in Taipei and Vienna.
