Wolf Theiss advises Real Estate Development EOOD on Legal Aspects of River Park Sofia Project

Sofia, 31 January 2024 – Wolf Theiss acted as legal advisor for Real Estate Development EOOD, a real estate development firm, in the ongoing development of River Park Sofia, an expansive gated residential project spanning 215,000 square meters and comprising 352 modern architecture homes.

The River Park Sofia project, initiated in July 2020, is a next generation gated residential project in the making, with the first construction phase successfully completed in August 2023. The second construction phase, which commenced in early 2024, involves a new complex construction contract which was signed in January 2024 with the support of Wolf Theiss.

Wolf Theiss has been actively involved in providing comprehensive legal support throughout the project’s development. The firm’s mandate included the drafting and negotiation of preliminary and final sale agreements, maintenance and management agreements, the internal rules of the complex, the FIDIC construction contract, general contractor construction contract, design contract, supervision contract, and various other external connection-related contracts. In addition, the team facilitated communication with authorities to obtain planning permits and building approvals, extending legal guidance on health and safety, insurance, liability, and environmental aspects associated with the project.
