Wolf Theiss Advises XPartners on strategic acquisition of Aqvila

Budapest, 14 October 2024 – Wolf Theiss has advised XPartners Samhällsbyggnad AB on its acquisition of engineering, design and consulting company Aqvila A/S, along with its Hungarian subsidiary, Aqvila Consult Hungary Kft. This acquisition marks a significant step for XPartners, strengthening its presence in the Danish market and enhancing its position across the broader Nordic region.

Founded in Aarhus in 2010, Aqvila A/S is recognised for its expertise in delivering comprehensive engineering solutions, from initial planning to project management, with a particular focus on large-scale industrial projects and the Life Science sector. This strategic acquisition allows XPartners to expand its service portfolio and reinforce its market presence.

Wolf Theiss provided legal counsel on the Hungarian law aspects of the transaction. The firm’s role included conducting thorough due diligence and assisting in the preparation of key transaction documents, ensuring a smooth acquisition process.
