Wolf Theiss strengthens its banking and finance team in Bratislava with new hire

Wolf Theiss Bratislava is further expanding. The firm is pleased to announce that Rudolf Pfeffer, who will lead the Bratislava Banking and Finance practice group  is joinning as a Counsel on 2 November 2021.

“Rudolf is an experienced, highly reputable banking & finance lawyer with a great personality and under his lead the Bratislava banking & finance practice group will expand further significantly. ” says Jitka Logesová, Managing Partner of Wolf Theiss Prague and Bratislava.

Rudolf Pfeffer will bring his 11+ years of legal experience spanning across various sectors of the finance industry. He joins the firm from Swiss Re where he was acting as Regional Counsel focusing on EMEA operations of the group.

Prior to that he was part of a prominent international law firm in the region. Rudolf’s experience includes advising lenders, borrowers and sponsors on all aspects of local and international finance transactions, specifically focusing on leveraged finance, real estate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, recapitalisations and general corporate lending as well as significant expertise in dealing with licensing, regulatory, compliance and financial oversight matters in banking and (re)insurance segment.

His diverse legal background allows him to provide expert counsel to clients from various sectors. “I’m delighted to join Wolf Theiss and bolster its banking & finance practice group in Slovakia.
